Payment and Insurance

The rate for a 50 minute session is $120. We ask for payment at the time of each session in cash or check or credit.  Additional time is pro-rated in 15 minute increments.   

We accept Aetna, Cigna, and most Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.  The therapeutic hour is 50 minutes, additional time in a session will be pro-rated at the cash rate .   You are responsible for understanding your insurance benefits, deductibles and co-pays.  We can help provide documentation for reimbursement if you would like help filing out of network claims for all other insurances.

Phone calls over 10 minutes are billed as a full sessions.  It is not recommended to use phone calls for more than coordination as they are not the best medium for therapy.  

Help Your Mind Counseling requires 24 hours notice for all cancellations.  Cancellations without 24 hour notice will be billed at the full $120.00 cash rate.

 After graduating from the University of Texas with my MS in Social Work, I began working with clients in 2004. My focus as a therapist is to help clients uncover within themselves the courage and strength to face life with confidence.

I am most interested in helping people develop a compassionate relationship with their own experiences.  I hope to help lead clients on a journey of acceptance and self discovery, finding relief from sufferin, and healing their relational disconnects.  

I have worked with individuals, couples, and families of all ages.  The difficulties I specialize in helping are:
